Levels

Levels from A1 to C2

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) describes six levels, so a level means the same at any school.

A1Beginner

You can understand and use everyday expressions and introduce yourself.

A2Elementary

You can talk about familiar matters such as family, shopping, work and where you live.

B1Intermediate

You can deal with most situations while travelling and describe experiences, plans and opinions.

B2Upper intermediate

You can follow complex texts and speak with native speakers without strain on either side.

C1Advanced

You can use the language flexibly for social, academic and professional purposes.

C2Proficiency

You can understand almost everything you hear or read and express yourself precisely.
